Vikas Dubey encounter: Plea in SC seeking removal of Justice BS Chauhan-led inquiry commission members

New Delhi: A fresh plea was Thursday filed in the Supreme Court seeking re-constitution of the inquiry commission set up to probe into the killing of gangster Vikas Dubey in police encounter by removing former apex court judge Justice BS Chauhan as the Chairman along with two other members.

A bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde had on 28 July dismissed an earlier application seeking removal of two other members of the inquiry commission and had said that it would not allow the petitioner to cast aspersions.

In the fresh application, advocate Ghanshyam Upadhyay has sought re-constitution of the inquiry commission and substituting its members - Justice (retd) Chauhan, former high court judge Justice (retd) Shashi Kant Agarwal and retired Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police KL Gupta with other former judges of the apex court and retired DGPs.

Besides this, the plea has also sought re-constitution of the special investigating team (SIT), set up by the Uttar Pradesh government to look into the crimes committed by the gangster and alleged collusion between Dubey, police and politicians.

The inquiry commission will also probe the killing of eight policemen allegedly by the Dubey gang and the subsequent encounter of the gangster and five of his purported associates.

The apex court had on 22 July approved the Uttar Pradesh government's draft notification for appointing Justice (retd) Chauhan as the chairman of the three-member inquiry commission.

Eight policemen, including DSP Devendra Mishra, who were ambushed in Bikru village in Chaubeypur area of Kanpur when they were going to arrest Dubey and fell to bullets fired from rooftops shortly after midnight on 3 July.

Dubey was killed in an encounter in the morning of 10 July when a police vehicle carrying him from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh to Kanpur met with an accident and he tried to escape from the spot in Bhauti area, the police had said.

Prior to Dubey's encounter, five of his alleged associates were killed in separate encounters.

On 22 July, the apex court had directed that the inquiry commission should start functioning within a week and the probe be concluded within two months.

The apex court had passed the order last week while hearing a batch of petitions which have sought court-monitored probe into encounters of Dubey and five of his alleged associates.

Some of the pleas have also sought probe into the killing of eight policemen on 3 July 3.

The Uttar Pradesh government, in an affidavit filed earlier in the apex court in the matter, had said that the police party escorting Dubey from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh to Kanpur had to "fire back in self-defence" as he had tried to escape and was killed.

TBSE 12th HS Result 2020 DECLARED: Bipasha Chakraborty of humanities stream tops with 96.4%, Ruchika Sarkar from science second at 94.6%

TBSE Class 12 results 2020 DECLARED | Bipasha Chakraborty, a humanities student from Vivekananda Vidyapith H.S School in Agartala has topped the  Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) Class 12 exams with 482 marks or 96.4 percent.

Ruchika Sarkar from Arya Colony HS School, from the science stream, with 473 marks or 94.6 percent came second in the board.

Deepjoy Rudra Sarma from Umakanta Academy in Agartala, also from the science stream, got 472 marks or 94.4 percent, placed third in the board.

The Class 12 results of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) were released on the official websites tripuraresults.nic.in and  tripurainfo.com at 9 am today (Friday, 31 July).

Of the 26,400 students who appeared for the Class 12 exams this year, 80.80 percent have cleared their papers.

The science stream saw a pass percentage of 89.85, the commerce stream 78.56% and the arts stream 79.52%.

Last year, TBSE had conducted the HS +2 Stage board examinations for arts, commerce and science streams from 1 March to 3 April which saw the attendance of around 27,000 students.

In 2019, the overall pass percentage for the TBSE Class 12 exams was 80.51 with humanities registering a pass percentage of 79.05 and commerce 78.13%.

Sushant Singh Rajput death: Petition seeking transfer of case to CBI filed in Patna HC

A letter petition has been filed in the Patna High Court seeking the transfer of investigation of the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput from Bihar Police to the Central Bureau of Investigation.

"We would like to bring to your kind attention that the sudden and mysterious demise of Late Mr Sushant Singh Rajput on 14 June 2020 has created a wave of shock and grief across the nation and which is being investigated by Bihar and Maharashtra Police and it has prima facie raised a number of serious questions on the investigation being conducted by both the State Police and also it has raised a number of unanswered question in the mind of the public at large as it was a suicide or a murder," read a letter petition filed by Pawan Prakash Pathak and Gauraw Kumar.

The letter petition further read that with the Bihar Police and Maharashtra Police both — investigating the case of the late actor — are "not collaborating with each other."

"Now there are two states investigating the same sad matter of mysterious death of Late Sushant Singh Rajput, and in the interest of justice there should be a single investigation agency which is not possible as the Bihar Police and the Maharashtra Police not collaborating with each other," it read further.

"Therefore, in the interest of justice, equity and good conscience, it is humbly prayed that this Letter Petition be treated as a Public Interest Litigation seeking transfer of investigation from State agency to CBI Or SIT Inquiry," the petition added.

Earlier, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said Mumbai Police are investigating the case and it will not be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

A team of Bihar Police that arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday, recorded statements of two persons, including actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, on Wednesday in connection with the case.

An FIR was filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's father against actor Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar on Tuesday.

Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on 14 June.

From doubling enrolment rates to increasing Budget allocation, NEP 2020 could prove transformational

The National Education Policy 2020 has finally arrived.

It has taken 34 years for the country to bring into play an education policy since the introduction of the previous one. In its 2014 election manifesto, the NDA had promised a 'new education policy' and after coming to power, then-newly-appointed education minister Smriti Irani promptly announced that the policy would be drafted. Little did anyone realise that it would be in the making for five long years as it went through a rigorous process of consultations.

Over these five years, the development of India's new education policy involved thousands of consultations across 21 states at the village-, block-, and district-level: The process was led by the state education departments in partnership with the panchayats; this was followed by six regional consultations that were organised by the nodal officers from National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and Regional Institutes of Education (RIE). It all began with the launch of a portal in January 2015, seeking public opinion on 33 different themes of education.

By November 2015, a committee was established under the chairmanship of the late TSR Subramanian; this committee did its round of grounds up consultations and it also visited educational institutions before finally submitting a draft report in May 2016 which ran 217 pages with a 120-page-long annexure, for good measure. The report had a list of more than 300 educationists, vice-chancellors, experts from various related domains, civil society and non-governmental organisation representatives, and representatives of education providers in the private sector whom they had consulted.

Meanwhile, there were changes in the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), including a change of guard at the helm with Prakash Javadekar taking charge of the portfolio. Although the ministry released a report for public comment calling it "Some inputs for the Draft NEP 2016", another committee was set up in June 2017 under the chairmanship of Dr K Kasturirangan. This committee had the massive task of reviewing all the earlier material, including the consultations under the previous committee, and the critiques the ministry had received, as well as fresh inputs from the public.

Additionally, this committee undertook another round of consultations seeking clarifications on important aspects of education, on which various people from different walks of life had given their opinions, during the discussions held across the length and breadth of the country. After consulting nearly 74 institutions and more than 200 individuals, in December 2018, the Kasturirangan Committee submitted the Draft National Education Policy (DNEP) to the Government of India. Those who read all 477 pages of this magnum opus would have no doubt in their minds that it was indeed a seminal work. The government made it public and sought comments and hopes were raised that the country would have a new education policy. However, the General Election of 2019 was soon announced and discussions regarding the National Education Policy slipped into the background.

Once the NDA came back to power at the Centre in May 2019, work on the NEP picked up — this time with a new HRD minister at the helm. The ministry had received lakhs of comments on the Draft NEP that was submitted by the Kasturirangan Committee. All the comments were reviewed and many were even responded to by the ministry and finally almost a year-and-a-half later, the Draft NEP has been accepted as the National Education Policy 2020.

I have described the entire process in some detail because it is crucial to understand and appreciate that at no other time has the country witnessed such wide and robust consultations for developing an education policy.

At the end of this process, for educationists who have followed the making of this policy, it is also highly satisfying to note that genuine efforts were made to make the process as democratic as possible. Furthermore, independent committees under highly respected personalities were established to perform the task of evolving a new education policy for the nation. Therefore, when a policy as comprehensive and transformational as the NEP 2020 is dedicated to the nation, it is a rare and a momentous occasion that ought to be celebrated. It is time to bury the minor disagreements that may have existed in order to implement what is envisioned in the NEP 2020.

The NEP 2020 visualises an education system that contributes directly to transforming our country into an 'equitable and vibrant knowledge society', by making sure that every child in this country has access to 15 years of high-quality school education and by doubling the enrolment in higher education in the next 15 years from the current 25 percent gross enrolment ratio to 50 percent. It is in order to fulfil these goals that the policy makes an explicit commitment to public education including an increase in expenditure on education to six percent of GDP at the earliest.

To enable the transformation envisaged by NEP 2020, in both school and higher education domains, a series of actions are to be undertaken from evolving integrated curricular frameworks to bringing about large scale structural changes across all the domains of education including teacher education. Many challenges lie ahead.

There are many changes that are required, which are fundamental in nature to implement NEP 2020; such as the re-imagining of the current 12 years of schooling into a 15-year period — from ages three to 18 years and split the 15 years into four specific blocks corresponding to different levels of child development, establishing special education zones (educational SEZs) to provide access to high quality education to all young adults desiring to pursue higher education, comprehensive changes to curricular approaches, completely transforming teacher education and the set of measures to ensure 'light but tight' regulation in order to balance autonomy and accountability of institutions.

This illustrative list clearly indicates that the reforms embedded into NEP 2020 are not only transformational in nature, but represent a comprehensive overhaul of the current education system. Most importantly, these reforms come as an integral part of NEP 2020 and are critical in order to realise the vision of this policy.

It is crucial that all stakeholders of education in the country come together to work towards this NEP 2020's goal of creating a better tomorrow for our children; and a better Indian society for the future.

Saifuddin Soz to sue J&K administration over 'unlawful house arrest'; Rahul Gandhi seeks his release

Senior Congress leader and former Union minister Saifuddin Soz on Thursday said he would sue the government for his "unlawful house arrest" since 5 August last year, when the Centre revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, and termed the government's response in the Supreme Court that he was not under detention as "falsehood".

"I take a strong exception to the government stand before the Supreme Court that I had neither been put under house arrest nor had any restrictions been imposed on me since 5 August, 2019," Soz said in a statement in Srinagar.

He said the government has resorted to "falsehood as it had unlawfully incarcerated me since 5 August, 2019".

"All this while, I was not allowed to move out of my premises. I left my premises twice, when I had to visit my ailing sister and I went to Delhi on 17th September, 2019 to 21st September, 2019 and 15th December, 2019 to 21st December, 2019 for seeking medical advice. Whenever I went out of my premises since 5 August, 2019, I had to obtain permission from the government," he said.

The former Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president added that he has decided to sue the government for his "unlawful" house arrest.

"I have decided to sue the government for my unlawful house arrest since August 5, 2019. I will further sue the government for compensation for the incarceration and illegal suspension of civil liberties to which I am entitled under the Constitution," he said.

In an affidavit before the Supreme Court, the Jammu and Kashmir administration had said Soz was "never detained nor under house arrest" and there are "no restrictions on his movement subject to security clearance".

The government's affidavit came in response to a petition by Soz's wife, seeking her husband's release from "illegal detention" and to be brought before the court.

Soz's son, Salman Anees, addressed the Supreme Court through Twitter and asked if the top court will hold the Jammu and Kashmir administration accountable for 'lying' or will it accept its own 'humiliation'.

Sharing a video clip, which shows police stopping Soz from leaving his home and speaking to the media, Salman tweeted, "Dear Supreme Court of India: The Jammu and Kashmir Government lied to you. This is proof. Now, will you accept your own humiliation or hold the govt accountable? History will judge you."

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi demanded Soz's immediate release. "The illegal detention of political leaders with absolutely no basis damages the fabric of our nation. Mr Soz must be released at once," Gandhi tweeted.

अभिनेता सुशांत सिंह राजपूत सिर्फ अपना पैशन फॉलो करते थे और पैसे उनके लिए कोई मायने नहीं रखते थे। सुशांत मानते थे सब कुछ खत्म हुआ तो भी वे अपना एम्पायर फिर से खड़ा कर लेंगे। यह दावा उनकी फ्रेंड रह चुकी अंकिता लोखंडे ने एक टीवी चैनल के इंटरव्यू में किया है। वहीं इस मामले में आगे आते हुए बिहार सरकार ने भी सुप्रीम कोर्ट में कैविएट दायर कर दिया है। पुलिस जांच में यह भी सामने आया है कि सुशांत के तीन बैंक खातों से रिया की कंपनी को पैसे ट्रांसफर हुए थे।

इंटरव्यू में अंकिता ने कहा, ''पैसा बहुत छोटी चीज थी सुशांत के लिए, लेकिन उसका पैशन बहुत बड़ा था। वो हमेशा मुझसे कहता था कि अगर सबकुछ खत्म भी हो जाए तो मैं फिर से अपना एम्पायर खड़ा कर लूंगा। अगर नहीं मिला तो अपने दम पर जिंदगी जीऊंगा। उसकी क्रिएटिविटी, फिल्मों के लिए उसका पैशन बल्कि मैं कहना चाहूंगी कि जिंदगी के लिए उसका पैशन था।''

उन्होंने आगे कहा,"'वह हर काम शिद्दत से करता था। मैंने उसे देखा है। डांस खुशी से करता था। वह श्यामक डावर के ग्रुप बैकग्राउंड डांसर रहा है। वहां से उसकी जर्नी जो शुरू हुई है वो दिल बेचारा पर जाकर खत्म हो गई।''

सुशांत पर न कभी सक्सेस का असर पड़ा और न कभी डाउनफॉल का

''सुशांत हमेशा मुझसे एक बात बोलता था कि सक्सेस और फेलियर्स के बीच में एक लाइन होती है, जो महेंद्र सिंह धोनी फॉलो करते हैं। जब ज्यादा अच्छा होता है तो वह सैटल रहते हैं और कुछ ज्यादा खराब होता तो भी वह सैटल रहते हैं। सुशांत बोलता था कि मैं ऐसा ही होना चाहता हूं। उस पर न कभी सक्सेस का असर पड़ा न कभी डाउनफॉल का। सुशांत मानता था कि खुशियां पलभर की होती हैं। इसलिए वह छोटी-छोटी चीजों में खुशियां ढूंढ़ता था। उसे बच्चों को पढ़ाने में खुशी मिलती थी। तारों को देखने में उसे खुशी मिलती थी। उसने कई सारे बच्चों को पढ़ाया था। उसका यही पैशन था। वह इसके लिए कभी मर नहीं सकता है।"

6 साल तक अंकिता को सुशांत ने किया था डेट

सुशांत ने करीब छह साल तक टीवी सीरियल पवित्रा रिश्ता की अपनी सह-कलाकार अंकिता को डेट किया था, हालांकि बाद में वे अलग हो गए। रिया के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज कराने के बाद अंकिता ने इंस्टाग्राम पर एक पोस्ट शेयर किया था जिसमें लिखा था कि 'सच्चाई की हमेशा जीत होती है।'

सुशांत के ट्रेनर का दावा- रहस्यमयी दवाएं ले रहे थे सुशांत

इस बीच सुशांत के ट्रेनर रहे समी अहमद ने एक इंटरव्यू में दावा किया है कि सुशांत ने पिछले साल दिसंबर से कुछ रहस्यमयी दवाएं लेना शुरू किया था। अहमद का दावा है कि जिसकी वजह से सुशांत सिंह का स्वास्थ्य बिगड़ गया और उनके पैर कांपने लगे थे। ट्रेनर ने कहा, "वह ठीक नहीं लग रहा था।" ट्रेनर ने यह भी साझा किया कि जब से उसने रिया को डेट करना शुरू किया, तभी से सुशांत के व्यवहार में काफी बदलाव आ गया था। ट्रेनर का कहना है कि अभिनेता ने पहले कभी गोलियां नहीं लीं और रिया के मिलने के बाद ही उसने दवा का कोर्स शुरू किया था।

रिया की कंपनी में सुशांत के तीन बैंक अकाउंट से हुए ट्रांसफर हुए पैसे

अभिनेता सुशांत सिंह राजपूत के कोटक महिंद्रा, एचडीएफसी और एक्सिस बैंक के खातों से रिया की कंपनी विविड्रेज रियलिटी एक्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड में तीन ट्रांजेक्शन हुए हैं। यह कंपनी रिया के नाम पर ही खोली गयी थी। जानकारी के मुताबिक रिया के कहने पर ही इस कंपनी के नाम में रियलिटी शब्द को शामिल किया गया। रिया ने अपने भाई शोविक चक्रवर्ती को भी इस कंपनी का डायरेक्टर बनाने के लिए सुशांत को मना लिया था। उनकी हरी झंडी मिलते ही शौविक को भी कंपनी में शामिल कर लिया। बैंक खाते के जरिये विविड्रेज रियालिटीएक्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के अलावा दो और कंपनियों के बारे में जानकारी एसआईटी को मिली है।

छोटी-छोटी ट्रांजेक्शन रिया की कंपनी में हुए हैं

इस पहलू पर भी बिहार पुलिस तफ्तीश कर रही है कि क्या सुशांत के पिता ने उनके बैंक खाते से जिन 15 करोड़ रुपये की हेराफेरी का आरोप लगाया है, कहीं वह इन्हीं कंपनियों के जरिये तो रिया के भाई तक तो नहीं पहुंचे। कंपनियों ने क्या काम किया। क्या पैसे ठगने के लिए ही कंपनियों बनाई गई थीं। सुशांत के खाते से इन कंपनियों में काफी छोटे-छोटे रुपये के ट्रांजेक्शन भी मिले हैं।

बिहार सरकार ने भी सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दायर की कैविएट

बॉलीवुड अभिनेता सुशांत सिंह राजपूत के पिता के. के. सिंह के बाद बिहार सरकार ने भी सुप्रीम कोर्ट में कैविएट दाखिल की है। बिहार सरकार ने कैविएट दाखिल करके न्यायालय से आग्रह किया है कि सुशांत की महिला मित्र एवं मॉडल रिया चक्रवर्ती की याचिका पर उसका पक्ष सुने बिना कोई एक-पक्षीय आदेश जारी न करे। बिहार सरकार ने उच्चतम न्यायालय में रिया चक्रवर्ती की याचिका के खिलाफ सुशांत के पिता को समर्थन करने का निर्णय भी लिया है। इससे पहले सुशांत के पिता के. के. सिंह ने मॉडल रिया चक्रवर्ती द्वारा दायर याचिका के संदर्भ में कैविएट दाखिल की थी।

VHP says people are opposing Ram Temple to achieve political goals, counter Hindu interests

Nagpur: Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) general secretary Milind Parande on Thursday alleged that those opposing the Ram temple and subjects linked to it are doing so to achieve their political goals as they have no other option but to counter the interests of Hindus.

He said this while addressing a press conference.

Replying to a query about the recent statements made by NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi related to Ram temple, he said, "Some people have made it their business to oppose any subject related with Ram temple. Everybody should understand Ram temple is a symbol of national pride."

"Some people are opposing it. It is part of their politics and their politics is only achieved by opposing the interests of Hindus. All such people don't have any other option but to oppose...," he said, adding that Ram temple will become a centre of communal harmony in the country.

According to the members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra trust, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Ayodhya on 5 August for the bhoomi pujan to begin the construction of the Ram temple.

Madhya Pradesh woman forced to carry husband on shoulders to atone for 'extramarital affair'

A woman was beaten up and forced to carry her him on her shoulders over an alleged extramarital affair in a tribal-dominated village of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday evening.

The woman is seen carrying her husband on her shoulders as punishment, jeered and heckled by villagers, in a video that has emerged from Jhabua district.

"This is an incident in the Chhapri Ranwas Village, where the husband and his wife entered into an argument. As per the information we received, after the arguments, the man was made to sit on her shoulders and she asked to walk across the village," Jhabua Station in-charge Surendra Gadariya, said.

The woman obviously struggled to walk as she carried her husband, but the villagers forced her to go on in the video. The mother of three was hit with sticks when she stopped at one point.

"The woman recorded her statement at a police station later on," he added.

Last year, a similar punishment was meted out to a woman in Devigarh village in the same district of Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly having an affair with a man belonging to a different caste.

According to the data released by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) in 21 October, 2019, Madhya Pradesh was the worst place for women with the state registering the highest number of domestic violence cases.

"In 2019, a total of 616 cases were recorded in the entire country under Domestic Violence Act, 2005. The act was meant to provide effective protection of the rights of women. Of the total cases, 241 were registered in Madhya Pradesh in 2017," according to the data.

TBSE 12th HS Result 2020: Tripura Board to declare results at 9 am today; how to check scores via SMS

TBSE Class 12 results 2020 | The wait of 26,400 students is likely to be over soon as the  Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) is set to announce the results of Class 12 (HS +2 Stage) Science examination today (31 July).

Students who appeared for the exams can visit the official websites tripurainfo.com and tripuraresults.nic.in. to access their scores.

In case students face difficulty in logging into the official websites, they should not panic. These temporary glitches are usually fixed soon.

Last year, TBSE had conducted the HS +2 Stage board examinations for arts, commerce and science streams from 1 March to 3 April which saw the attendance of around 27,000 students

‘मैं खुशनसीब हूं कि भारत में मुमताज बनकर पैदा हुई; जो प्यार हिंदुस्तान के लोग देते हैं, वो और कहीं नहीं मिलता’

26 साल की उम्र में अपनी शादी के लिए अपना स्टारडम छोड़ देने वाली दिलकश और शोख अदाकारा मुमताज आज 73वें साल में कदम रख रही हैं। खिलौना (1970), ब्रह्मचारी (1968), आइना (1977), आपकी कसम (1974), जैसी ब्लॉकबस्टर फिल्मों को यादगार बना चुकीं एक्ट्रेस मुमताज अब एक ब्रिटिश नागरिक बन चुकी हैं और पांच नाती-पोतों से भरे परिवार में खुशहाल शादीशुदा जिंदगी जी रही हैं।

मुमताज को दारा सिंह के साथ काम करने के बाद इंडस्ट्री में बड़ी पहचान मिली। कई अभिनेता ऐसे भी थे जो उन्हें स्टंट फिल्मों की हीरोइन बताकर उनके साथ काम करने से मना कर देते थे। हालांकि एक्ट्रेस ने अपनी शोख अदाओं से फिल्मों में रोमांस, ड्रामा और इमोशनल अदाकारी का नया मुकाम हासिल किया।

1947 में जन्मीं मुमताज ने 11 साल की उम्र से बतौर चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट काम करना शुरू किया था। 1969 में मुमताज को राज खोसला ने उभरते सितारे राजेश खन्ना के साथ दो रास्ते फिल्म में मौका दिया और ये फिल्म उनके करियर के लिए माइलस्टोन साबित हुई। इसके बाद अचानक ही बी-ग्रेड फिल्मों की अदाकारा कही जाने वाली मुमताज स्टार बन गईं और इंडस्ट्री का हर बड़ा हीरो उन्हें अपनी लीडिंग लेडी बनाने की चाहत रखने लगा था। आज मुमताज को इंडस्ट्री छोड़े 40 साल हो गए। परदेस में बैठी मुमताज को हिंदुस्तान बहुत याद आता है और वे कहती हैं, 'मैं बहुत ही खुशनसीब और शुक्रगुजार हूं कि मैं भारत में मुमताज बनकर पैदा हुई। जो प्यार लोग हिंदुस्तान में देते हैं वो कहीं भी दुनिया में नहीं मिलता।'

आपके लंदन, युगांडा, कीनिया, न्यूयॉर्क में घर हैं, ग्लोबल सिटीजन होकर कैसा लगता है

(हंसते हुए) मैं सिर्फ इतना जानती हूं कि मैं ब्रिटिश नागरिक हूं। मगर ये बहुत मुश्किल है। ये सारे घर मेंटेन करना कोई आसान काम नहीं है। ऐसे ही नहीं बन गए। जहां भी जाओ काम करना पड़ता है, ये नहीं चल रहा वो नहीं चल रहा। इससे अच्छा तो है कि आपका एक ही घर हो। इसमें ही आपको खुशी मिलती।

73 सालों में आपकी जिंदगी का सबसे बेहतरीन वक्त कौन सा रहा?

मेरे संघर्ष के दिन सबसे बेहतरीन रहे। उस दौर में फिल्मों के लिए जी-जान से जुटे रहना मेरी जिंदगी का सबसे बेहतरीन वक्त था।

जब आपने दारा सिंह के साथ 16 एक्शन फिल्में की तब?

हर फिल्म एक याद है। संघर्ष करना बहुत बेहतरीन रहा है। जितना जो चीज मुश्किल होती है उसकी उतनी कदर होती है। वो मेरी जिंदगी के सबसे खूबसूरत दिन थे। 13 से 26 सालों तक का समय। फिर मैंने शादी कर ली और इंडस्ट्री छोड़ दी। अब मेरी एक अलग जिंदगी है। और मुझे उन दिनों पर आज भी गर्व है।

अपनी प्रतिद्वंद्वी रहीं शर्मिला टैगोर को याद करती हैं?

नहीं, कोई विरोधी नहीं था। मैं कोई पिक्चर नहीं करती थी तो वो उनके पास चली जाती थीं। ज्यादातर मेरी कई फिल्में जो मैंने नहीं की थीं वो उनके पास गई थीं। मगर हम दोनों के बीच ऐसा कुछ नहीं था। मुझे कभी एहसास ही नहीं हुआ कि हम दोनों के बीच ऐसा कुछ था। क्या आपने कभी ऐसा सुना है।

आपको ऑफर कोई रोल जब किसी और को मिल जाता था तो कैसा लगता था?

मेरे जैसे रोल अगर कोई दूसरी औरत कर सकती है तो प्रोड्यूसर उनके पास चले जाते थे। कई बार ऐसा होता है कि आप कोई रोल करना चाहते हो मगर प्राइस (फीस) के चलते आपको छोड़ना पड़ता है। किसी ने कम प्राइस में अपना लिया तो थोड़ी फीलिंग होती है। ये एक दो बार हुआ होगा मेरे साथ। उस जमाने में मैं अपने प्राइस को लेकर काफी सख्त थी। मैं 8 लाख रुपए लेती थी। जो काफी ज्यादा होता था। वो एक दो लाख इधर-उधर हो जाने से दिल दुखता था।

हेमा मालिनी और शर्मिला टैगोर आज भी शो-बिज का हिस्सा है, क्या आप भी वापसी करना चाहेंगी?

देखिए, मैंने कभी नहीं कहा कि मुझे कभी इंडस्ट्री में वापस नहीं जाना या मुझे जाना पसंद है। मेरे पास वापस जाने का समय नहीं है। मैं व्यस्त हूं और अपने परिवार में लगी हुई हूं। जब मुझे पैसों की जरूरत होगी तो वापस जाकर कहूंगी, सलाम, ‘मुझे काम चाहिए, मुझे काम दो’। कोई वजह अभी तक निकली ही नहीं है जिसके लिए मुझे वापस जाना चाहिए। हालांकि मुझे इंडस्ट्री का हिस्सा रहने पर गर्व है।

आप अपनी बेस्ट परफॉर्मेंस में कौन सी फिल्म सिलेक्ट करेंगी?

ये बहुत मुश्किल सवाल है। कोई कैसे बता सकता है कि लोगों को कौन सी परफॉर्मेंस पसंद आ जाए। मैंने तेरे मेरे सपने, 1971 में इतना अच्छा काम किया था लेकिन अवॉर्ड ‘खिलौना’ में मिला। मुझे लगता है कि मेरी एक्टिंग ‘खिलौना’ से ज्यादा ‘तेरे मेरे सपने’ में ज्यादा अच्छी थी। कई लोग आज भी ‘बिंदिया चमकेगी’ आपकी बेस्ट परफॉर्मेंस है कहते हैं। यह तो सब देखने वालों पर है, या तो सितारे अर्श पर होंगे या फर्श पर।

इंडस्ट्री में बने रहने के लिए झूठ कितना जरूरी है?

मैं तो ये बोलूंगी कि झूठ बोलने से अच्छा है मुंह बंद करके बैठो। आप एक विजेता रहोगे। जब आपको कमेंट नहीं करना है तो चुप चाप रहो। बोलकर बहुत गड़बड़ होती है बाद में।

इन दिनों किस एक्ट्रेस का स्टाइल अच्छा लगता है?

आज की सभी लड़कियां अच्छे कपड़े पहनती हैं। शिल्पा शेट्टी अच्छे कपड़े पहनती हैं, अच्छी लगती है। सोनम, करीना और कंगना भी अच्छी लगती हैं। वो लड़की जो लंदन से आई है, कटरीना कैफ वो बहुत बेहतरीन और एलीगेंट लगती है। आजकल टाइम बदल गया है। हमारे जमाने में कुछ नहीं था। बैठने के लिए वैन भी नहीं थी।

आपको सुविधा ना मिलने पर अफसोस है?

नहीं मुझे जिंदगी में कोई अफसोस नहीं है। मैं बस फर्क बता रही हूं। जय जय शिव शंकर गाने के दौरान (आप की कसम, 1974) अगर आपको टॉयलेट जाना है तो 10 किलोमीटर दूर जाना पड़ता था। उन दिनों कुछ भी नहीं थी। हमें कुछ नहीं मिलता था, आजकल के यंगस्टर बहुत लकी हैं।

फरदीन (दामाद) ने कई दिनों से फिल्में नहीं की क्या इसके लिए आप राजनीति को दोषी मानेंगी?

नहीं, हमारी फिल्म लाइन में ऐसा नहीं है। अगर आज भी फरदीन अपना फिगर मेंटेन करेगा और अच्छा लगने लगेगा तो उसे ऑफर मिलेंगे। प्रोड्यूसर्स उसे लेंगे मगर उसके लिए उसे अपना वजन कम करना पड़ेगा और फिट दिखना होगा। अगर अपने आपको आप संभालो, अच्छे से रखो तो काम मिलता है। मुझे नहीं लगता कि यहां राजनीति है। आपको परफेक्ट दिखना होगा क्योंकि उनके करोड़ों रुपए इसमें लगे हैं। वो आपसे ज्यादा कुछ नहीं चाहते। इसके लिए आप दूसरों को जिम्मेदार नहीं मान सकते।

अभिनेता नवाज़ुद्दीन सिद्दीकी और उनके परिवार के सदस्यों पर उनकी पत्नी का गंभीर आरोप, वर्सोवा पुलिस स्टेशन में दर्ज हुआ केस

अभिनेता नवाज़ुद्दीन सिद्दीकी, उनके भाई और परिवार के कुछ अन्य सदस्यों के खिलाफ मुंबई के वर्सोवा पुलिस स्टेशन में केस दर्ज हुआ है। यह एफआईआर उनकी पत्नी पत्‍नी अंजना आनंद किशोर पांडे उर्फ आलिया सिद्दीकी की ओर से दर्ज करवाई गई है। पुलिस ने अभिनेता पर 'पॉक्सो' एक्ट में भी केस दर्ज किया है। यह एफआईआर वर्सोवा पुलिस स्टेशन में 27 जुलाई को दर्ज हुई है, लेकिन अभी तक इस मामले में किसी की गिरफ्तारी नहीं हुई है। इससे पहले आलिया तलाक और मेंटीनेंस भत्ते के लिए अभिनेता को कानूनी नोटिस भेज चुकी हैं।

वर्सोवा पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, अभिनेता के खिलाफ आईपीसी की धारा 354, 323(जानबूझ कर स्वेच्छा से किसी को चोट पहुंचाना), 504 (शांति भंग करने के इरादे से जानबूझकर अपमान करना), 506(धमकाना) और 34 (सामान्य इरादे से आपराधिक कृत्या) में दर्ज किया गया है।

पत्नी आलिया सिद्दकी का आरोप
आलिया सिद्दीकी ने पुलिस को दी अपनी शिकायत में आरोप लगाया है,"मेरी भतीजी ने मुझे बताया कि बड़ी मम्मी आप मुझे छोटे चाचा के साथ में मत भेजा करो वह गलत हरकत करता हैं, वह मुझे अच्छा नहीं लगते। तब मुझे पहली बार शक हुआ था।" उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया है कि उनकी जेठानी ने उसकी ससुराल के सभी सदस्यों व महिलाओं के साथ हमेशा दुर्व्यवहार किया है। वह परिवार की महिलाओं को परिवार के पुरुषों के खिलाफ भड़काने का काम करती है और उन्हें महिलाओं का शारीरिक शोषण करने वाला व औरतों की इज्जत न करने वाला बताती है।

देवर पर भी लगाया गंभीर आरोप
आलिया सिद्दीकी ने नवाज़ुद्दीन सिद्दीकी के भाई मिनाझुद्दीन सिद्धकी पर भी गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। उन्होंने एफआईआर में लिखा है कि उनके देवर मिनाझुद्दीन सिद्दीकी ने भी उनकी बेटी के साथ लैंगिक शोषण किया है। आलिया ने बताया कि इस बारे में जब उसने मिनाझुद्दीन से नाराजगी व्यक्त की तो उसने उनके साथ मारपीट भी की। उन्होंने यह भी कहा है कि जब उन्होंने अपने पति से इस बारे में शिकायत की तो उलटे उन्होंने भद्दी-भद्दी गालियां दी।

सास-ससुर पर भी लगाया आरोप
इसके अलावा उन्होंने अपने ससुर फैय्याजुद्दीन, अयाजउद्दीन और अपनी सास मेहरुनिसा पर गाली-गलौज करके धमकाने का आरोप लगाया है। आलिया ने यह भी कहा है कि उनके पति और अभिनेता नवाजुद्दीन सिद्दीकी ने उन्हें शिकायत नहीं करने के लिए कहा था।

सुशांत सिंह राजपूत सुसाइड मामले में रिया चक्रवर्ती के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज होने के बाद अभिनेता की बड़ी बहन श्वेता लगातार सोशल मीडिया पर भाई के लिए न्याय की मांग कर रही हैं। गुरुवार को लगातार दूसरे दिन उन्होंने इंस्टाग्राम पर एक पोस्ट करते हुए सुशांत के लिए न्याय मांगा। उन्होंने भगवान की एक फोटो शेयर करते हुए लोगों से इस मामले को लेकर एकजुट होने की अपील की।

श्वेता ने अपनी पोस्ट में लिखा, 'आओ एकजुट खड़े होते हैं, सच्चाई के लिए संगठित होते हैं। #इंडिया फोर सुशांत #भगवान कृपया हमारी मदद करें #ताकत और एकता की तलाश'। उन्होंने जो फोटो शेयर किया, उसमें एक देवी के अलावा त्रिदेव भगवान (ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश) नजर आ रहे हैं।

एक दिन पहले लिखा था #जस्टिस फोर सुशांत

इससे एकदिन पहले भी अमेरिका में रहने वाली श्वेता सिंह कीर्ति ने अपनी पोस्ट के जरिए सुशांत के लिए न्याय की मांग की थी। सुशांत की तेरहवीं के दिन पटना स्थित घर में लगाए फोटो को शेयर करते हुए उन्होंने लिखा था, 'अगर सच मायने नहीं रखता, तो कभी भी कुछ नहीं होगा। #जस्टिस फोर सुशांत सिंह राजपूत'।

श्वेता ने बताया था- क्यों नहीं की थी सीबीआई जांच की मांग

इससे पहले हाल ही में सोशल मीडिया पर एक यूजर ने पूछा था कि 'श्वेता आप और आपका परिवार सीबीआई जांच की मांग क्यों नहीं कर रहा है। अगर सुशांत का परिवार सीबीआई जांच की मांग करता है तो पूरा देश इसका समर्थन करेगा। देखिए, केवल फैन ही इसकी मांग कर रहे हैं, इसलिए सरकार इस पर ध्यान नहीं दे रही है। यहां कई सारे सबूत हैं।' तो उसे जवाब देते हुए श्वेता ने लिखा था, 'हम मुंबई पुलिस की जांच खत्म होने और उनकी रिपोर्ट्स आने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं।'

तीन दिन पहले श्वेता ने शेयर की थी इमोशनल पोस्ट

रविवार को श्वेता ने एक भावुक पोस्ट करते हुए सोशल मीडिया पर अपने भाई को याद किया था। इस दौरान उन्होंने सुशांत की मौत से चार दिन पहले (10 जून को) उनके साथ हुई आखिरी बातचीत का स्क्रीनशॉट भी शेयर किया था। इस चैट के मुताबिक, सुशांत की बहुत इच्छा थी कि वे कुछ दिन रहने के लिए अपनी बहन के पास यूएस जाएं। उन्होंने लिखा था, "बहुत मन करता है दी।"

श्वेता के पैदा होने से पहले हो गई थी बड़े भाई की मौत

उसी दिन दो सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट के जरिए श्वेता ने सुशांत के बचपन के किस्से साझा किए। उन्होंने बताया था कि उनके एक भाई की मौत तब हो गई थी, जब वह डेढ़ साल का था। वे अपने उस भाई का चेहरा भी नहीं देख पाई थीं, क्योंकि उसका जन्म उनसे पहले हुआ था।

श्वेता की शादी के वक्त खूब रोए थे सुशांत

श्वेता ने अपनी पोस्ट में यह भी बताया है कि 2007 में जब उनकी शादी हुई थी, तब सुशांत ने उन्हें टाइट हग दिया था और खूब रोए थे। वे आगे लिखती हैं- फिर हम दोनों अपने-अपने कामों में व्यस्त हो गए। भाई बॉलीवुड चला गया और हम सबको गर्वित करता रहा। लेकिन मैं हमेशा उसके प्रति प्रोटेक्टिव रही।

सुशांत के पिता ने रिया के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कराया

सुशांत की मौत के मामले में नया मोड़ उस वक्त आ गया, जब रविवार को उनके पिता ने उनकी गर्लफ्रेंड रिया चक्रवर्ती, उसके पिता इंद्रजीत चक्रवर्ती, मां संध्या चक्रवर्ती, भाई शोविक चक्रवर्ती और दो मैनेजर सौमिल चक्रवर्ती और श्रुति मोदी के खिलाफ पटना के राजीव नगर थाने में केस दर्ज कराया। पुलिस ने धारा 341, 342, 280, 420, 406, 420 और 306 के तहत रिया और उसके परिजनों समेत छह लोगों को आरोपी बनाया है।

सुशांत के पिता कृष्ण किशोर सिंह ने एफआईआर में रिया और उनके परिवार पर यह 7 आरोप लगाए हैं:

• सुशांत को 2019 के पहले तक कोई भी दिमागी बीमारी नहीं थी। रिया के संपर्क में आने के बाद अचानक मानसिक रूप से बीमार कैसे हो गया?
• यदि उसका इलाज चल रहा था तो हमसे लिखित या मौखिक मंजूरी क्यों नहीं ली गई, जो जरूरी है?
• रिया के साथ सुशांत का इलाज करने वाले डॉक्टर ने क्या दवाएं दीं, वह भी इस साजिश में शामिल है?
• मानसिक हालत नाजुक होने पर रिया ने उसका ठीक से इलाज क्यों नहीं कराया, वह सारे पर्चे साथ क्यों ले गई?
• सुशांत के एक बैंक खाते में 17 करोड़ रुपए थे, जिनमें से सालभर में करीब 15 करोड़ निकाल लिए गए, ये पैसे किन खातों में गए?
• सुशांत बॉलीवुड में नाम कमा चुके थे। ऐसा क्या हुआ कि रिया के आने के बाद उसे फिल्में ही मिलना बंद हो गईं?
• दोस्त महेश के साथ सुशांत ऑर्गेनिक खेती के लिए केरल में जमीन देख रहा था, तब रिया ने उसे रोकने के लिए ब्लैकमेल किया?

सुशांत की तीन कंपनियों में से दो में रिया थी डायरेक्टर

सुशांत सुसाइड केस में मुंबई पुलिस ने रिया चक्रवर्ती से दो बार पूछताछ कर चुकी है। एक बार उनसे करीब 11 घंटे पूछताछ की थी। सुशांत की तीन में से दो कंपनियों में रिया डायरेक्टर थीं। एक कंपनी में रिया का भाई शोविक चक्रवर्ती एडिशनल डायरेक्टर था। तीनों कंपनियों में सुशांत ने अपनी कमाई का बड़ा हिस्सा इन्वेस्टमेंट किया था।

अमिताभ बच्चन को नानावटी हॉस्पिटल में कोविड-19 का इलाज कराते हुए 19 दिन बीत चुके हैं। हर दिन वे सोशल मीडिया के जरिए फैन्स से कुछ बातें शेयर करते हैं। बुधवार को उन्होंने ब्लॉग के जरिए उन मेडिकल प्रोफेशनल्स को सराहा, जो निस्वार्थ भाव से संक्रमितों की सेवा में जुटे हैं। अमिताभ ने इन हेल्थ वर्कर्स को पीपीई किट्स में भगवान बताया। बिग बी ने कहा- ये डॉक्टर्स और नर्सिंग स्टाफ न केवल दवा के जरिए मरीजों का इलाज कर रहे हैं, बल्कि भगवान से उनके जल्द सेहतमंद होने की प्रार्थना भी करते हैं।

और क्या लिखा अमिताभ ने

बिग ने लिखा, “वे जो वॉरियर्स के रूप में कोविड से लड़ाई लड़ रहे लोगों को इस खतरनाक वायरस से छुटकारा दिलाने के लिए अथक रूप से, निस्वार्थ रूप से अपना समय और एनर्जी दे रहे हैं। अपने हाथ जोड़कर सर्वशक्तिमान से मरीजों के लिए प्रार्थना भी करते हैं। यहां नानावटी हॉस्पिटल में ये मेरा भी इलाज कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने वह प्रार्थना मेरे साथ शेयर की है, जिसका पाठ वे हर दिन करते हैं।” इसके नीचे बिग बी ने प्रार्थना का प्रिंट स्क्रीन शेयर किया है। इसमें लिखा है:-

“भगवान, जिंदगी के तोहफे और इस खूबसूरत दिन के लिए शुक्रिया। हम अपने मरीज को आपकी निगरानी में समर्पित करते हैं। मुझे आशीर्वाद दीजिए कि मैं अपने मरीज की जरूरत को समझ सकूं। उसके लिए जो बेहतर हो वह कर सकूं।

मुझे इतनी ईमानदारी और सच्चाई दीजिए कि जब कोई मेरे काम को देख भी नहीं रहा हो, तब भी मैं आपकी इच्छानुसार सही काम ही करूं। सभी को आशीर्वाद दीजिए कि सब सभी के लाभ के लिए काम कर सकें और हम सभी एक परिवार की तरह एक-दूसरे की देखभाल कर सकें।”

महीनों से अपने प्रियजनों से नहीं मिले मिले मेडिकल प्रोफेशनल

अमिताभ के मुताबिक- ये मेडिकल प्रोफेशनल्स महीनों से अपने प्रियजनों से नहीं मिले हैं। उन्होंने लिखा- वे अपनी कंडीशन पर ध्यान नहीं देते, बल्कि उनकी कंडीशन का ख्याल रखते हैं, जिनका वे इलाज कर रहे हैं। वे उन्हें स्वस्थ करके अपने प्रियजनों के पास भेजते हैं। वे पीपीई किट्स में भगवान हैं। हम उनका सम्मान करते हैं, उनकी सराहना करते हैं और उनका बहुत आदर करते हैं।

उन्होंने महीनों से अपने प्रियजनों को नहीं देखा है। वे हमेशा परिसर में रहते हैं और किसी भी परिस्थिति के लिए मिनट भर में तैयार हो जाते हैं। राहत पहुंचाने के लिए तैयार…हमारे और हमारे अपनों के चेहरों पर मुस्कान लाने के लिए तैयार... नमन ।

11 जुलाई से भर्ती हैं अमिताभ

77 साल के अमिताभ और उनके 44 वर्षीय बेटे अभिषेक 11 जुलाई से अस्पताल में भर्ती हैं। अस्पताल प्रबंधन या बच्चन परिवार की ओर से उनकी सेहत को लेकर कोई अपडेट नहीं दी गई है। पिछले दिनों जब बिग बी की बहू ऐश्वर्या और पोती अस्पताल से डिस्चार्ज हुई थीं, तब अभिषेक ने ट्वीट कर यह जानकारी दी थी कि वे और उनके पिता फिलहाल अस्पताल में ही डॉक्टर्स की निगरानी में रहेंगे।

सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की मौत को डेढ़ महीना बीतने को है लेकिन अभी भी उनके करीबी इस बात को स्वीकार नहीं कर पाए हैं कि वो इस दुनिया में नहीं है। उनके करीबियों को उनके साथ बिताए पल रह-रहकर याद आ रहे हैं।

हाल ही में उनके दोस्त विषाद दुबे ने इंस्टाग्राम पर सुशांत के साथ कॉलेज में बिताए पलों को याद किया है। विषाद ने अपने दूसरे दोस्त वरुण के नोट का स्क्रीनशॉट शेयर किया है।

सुशांत ने रैगिंग से बचाया

इस नोट में वरुण ने लिखा है-विषाद सर, हमारे दोस्त और सीनियर ने हमें कितनी बार रैगिंग से बचाया। हमें अलग-अलग कॉलेज के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों में एंट्री दिलाई और फ्रेशर्स की तरह हमारी लाइफ को मस्ती भरा बनाया। सुशांत और मैं साथ में लाइफ को बहुत एन्जॉय करते थे, हम कहते थे कि अभी दिल भर कर मस्ती कर ली, अब हम जिंदगी भर काम कर सकते हैं।

सुशांत मेरे भाई, आपको वो रात याद है जब इस बात पर डिस्कस करते हुए सोए नहीं थे कि समाधि में एक योगी को कैसा अनुभव होता होगा। आपका शरीर चला गया लेकिन मैं जानता हूं कि आपका अस्तित्व अभी भी है। भाई मैं आपके लिए रेस्ट इन पीस नहीं कहूंगा क्योंकि मैं चाहता हूं कि आप जल्द से जल्द दोबारा जिंदा हों। मुझे उम्मीद है हम फिर मिलेंगे।

विषाद ने इस नोट को शेयर करते हुए कैप्शन में लिखा, 100 रु. के खाने को तीन लोगों में बांटने से लेकर ढेर सारा प्यार और यादें बटोरने तक, हमने लंबा सफर तय किया है। गुड बाय उनके लिए होता है जो आंखों में बसते हैं, जो आत्मा और दिल से प्यार करते हैं, उनके बीच दूरी जैसा कुछ नहीं होता।

14 जून को किया था सुसाइड

सुशांत की बात की जाए तो उन्होंने 14 जून,2020 को अपने मुंबई स्थित फ्लैट में फांसी लगाकर सुसाइड कर लिया था। सुशांत ने सुसाइड क्यों किया, इस बात की जांच अभी भी जारी है। इस बीच उनके परिवार ने बिहार में रिया चक्रवर्ती सहित 6 लोगों पर सुसाइड के लिए उकसाने, धोखाधड़ी आदि के आरोप लगाकर मामला दर्ज करवाया है। सुशांत को न्याय दिलाने के लिए उनके फैन्स भी सोशल मीडिया पर कई कैम्पेन चला रहे हैं।

मराठी अभिनेता मयूरी देशमुख के पति और मराठी अभिनेता आशुतोष भाकरे ने किया सुसाइड, पुलिस ने कही डिप्रेशन में होने की बात

मराठी अभिनेत्री मयूरी देशमुख के पति और मराठी अभिनेता आशुतोष भाकरे ने बुधवार को नांदेड़ में अपने घर में कथित रूप से फांसी लगा कर आत्महत्या कर ली है। पुलिस के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि बुधवार दोपहर जब अभिनेता के माता-पिता गणेश नगर इलाके के फ्लैट में आए, तो उन्होंने अभिनेता का शव फंदे से लटका मिला।

डिप्रेशन में थे अभिनेता आशुतोष भाकरे
शिवाजी नगर पुलिस स्टेशन के इंस्पेक्टर अनंतक ने बताया, 'यह खबर हमें बुधवार दोपहर 1.30 मिनट के आसपास मिली थी। हमने प्रक्रिया के तहत फिलहाल एक्सीडेंटल डेथ रिपोर्ट फाइल किया है। हमने आशुतोष के पिता का स्टेटमेंट रिकॉर्ड किया है और उन्होंने इसके लिए किसी को दोषी नहीं ठहराया। हमने परिवार में किसी और से बात नहीं की क्योंकि वे अभी सदमे में हैं।' पुलिस अधिकारी ने बताया कि अभिनेता पिछले दिनों से कथित रूप से डिप्रेशन में थे। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है।

मरने से पहले आशुतोष ने एक वीडियो शेयर किया था
हाल ही में आशुतोष ने अपने फेसबुक अकाउंट से एक वीडियो साझा किया था। उस वीडियो में उन्होंने कहा था कि कोई इंसान आत्महत्या क्यों करता है?

मराठी इंडस्ट्री में शोक की लहर
आशुतोष के निधन के बाद मराठी इंडस्ट्री में शोक की लहर है। वहीं एक्टर के फैंस भी सदमे में हैं। फिल्म '31 दिवस' में मयूरी के को-स्टार रहे शशांक केटकर ने कहा, मैं आशुतोष से कई बार मिल चुका हूं और उन्हें काफी पसंद करता था। यकीन करना मुश्किल है कि उनके जैसा इंसान ऐसा खतरनाक कदम उठा सकता है। पता नहीं किन परिस्थितियों से मजबूर होकर उन्होंने ऐसा कदम उठाया। ईश्वर मयूरी और उनके परिवार को यह दुख सहने की शक्ति दे।

साल 2016 में मयूरी से की थी शादी
आशुतोष ने 2016 में अभिनेत्री मयूरी देशमुख से शादी की थी। मयूरी मराठी की जानी मानी टीवी एक्ट्रेस हैं। मयूरी टीवी शो 'खुलता काली खुलेना' से सुर्खियों में आई थीं।

करीबी दोस्त संदीप सिंह ने बताया- मुंबई पुलिस ने अबतक मेरा बयान नहीं लिया, बोले- सुशांत खुशमिजाज इंसान था खुदकुशी नहीं कर सकता

अभिनेता सुशांत सिंह राजपूत सुसाइड केस में मुंबई पुलिस करीब 40 लोगों के बयान दर्ज कर चुकी है, लेकिन हैरानी की बात ये है कि उसने अबतक सुशांत के करीबी दोस्तों में से एक संदीप सिंह का बयान नहीं लिया है। इस बात का खुलासा खुद संदीप ने किया है। साथ ही उनका ये भी कहना है कि सुशांत एक खुशमिजाज व्यक्ति थे और वे आत्महत्या नहीं कर सकते।

न्यूज चैनल रिपब्लिक टीवी से बात करते हुए बुधवार रात संदीप ने बताया, 'मुंबई पुलिस ने अबतक औपचारिक रूप से मेरा बयान नहीं लिया है, हालांकि वे मेरे साथ विस्तार से बातें कर चुके हैं।' उन्होंने कहा, 'उन्होंने (मुंबई पुलिस) ने मुझे फोन किया था और जो कुछ वे पूछ सकते थे वो सब पूछ लिया। उन्होंने मुझसे बात की है, वे मुझसे सभी जानकारी ले चुके हैं।'

सुशांत को एक खुशमिजाज इंसान बताते हुए संदीप ने दावा किया कि 'वो ऐसा व्यक्ति नहीं था, जो खुद के साथ वैसा करता जो उसके साथ हुआ है। वो एक खुशमिजाज शख्स था। वो हमेशा फिल्मों और सपनों के बारे में बात करता रहता था।' संदीप के बयान के बाद इस मामले में बिना FIR के जांच कर रही मुंबई पुलिस पर एकबार फिर सवाल उठ रहे हैं।

सुब्रमण्यम स्वामी बोले- सुशांत की हत्या हुई है

इसी मामले में गुरुवार सुबह भाजपा सांसद सुब्रमण्यम स्वामी ने ट्वीट करते हुए आरोप लगाया कि सुशांत ने आत्महत्या नहीं की है, बल्कि उनकी हत्या हुई है। अपने ट्वीट के साथ उन्होंने एक डॉक्यूमेंट भी शेयर किया, जिसमें 26 बिंदुओं पर बात की गई है। उनका दावा है कि इनमें से मात्र दो आत्महत्या की थ्योरी को सपोर्ट करते हैं। इसके अलावा सभी 24 बिंदुओं का इशारा हत्या की थ्योरी की ओर है।

वकील विकास सिंह दायर करेंगे कैविएट

सुशांत सुसाइड मामले में कथित अभियुक्त रिया चक्रवर्ती ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल की है। इससे इतर सुशांत के पिता की तरफ से उनके वकील विकास सिंह भी कैविएट दाखिल करेंगे। विकास सिंह के मुताबिक, वो याचिका में उठाए गए हर सवाल का जवाब कोर्ट में देंगे ताकि सुशांत के लिए जारी इंसाफ की लड़ाई में असली गुनहगार तक पहुंचा जा सके। इससे पहले रिया ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक याचिका लगाते हुए पटना में दर्ज मामले को मुंबई ट्रांसफर करने की मांग की है।

रिया के खिलाफ FIR से आया नया मोड़

इससे पहले सुशांत केस में नया मोड़ तब आ गया जब उनके पिता केके सिंह ने पटना के राजीव नगर थाने में सुशांत की गर्लफ्रेंड रिया चक्रवर्ती, उसके परिजनों समेत कुल 6 लोगों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कराया। सिंह ने रिया पर सुशांत को आत्महत्या के लिए उकसाने का आरोप लगाया है।
सुशांत के पिता की शिकायत पर दर्ज मामले में पटना पुलिस ने धारा 341, 342, 280, 420, 406, 420 और 306 के तहत रिया समेत 6 लोगों को आरोपी बनाया है। इस मामले की जांच के लिए पटना से 4 पुलिसवालों की टीम मुंबई पहुंच चुकी है और मुंबई पुलिस से जानकारियां जुटा रही है।

सुशांत की मौत को डेढ़ महीना गुजरा

सुशांत 14 जून को मुंबई के बांद्रा स्थित अपने फ्लैट में फांसी के फंदे पर झूलते पाए गए थे। जिसके बाद पुलिस ने इसे आत्महत्या करार देते हुए बताया था कि वे डिप्रेशन में थे, इसी वजह से उन्होंने ये कदम उठाया।

The bleak milestone comes amid signs that the nation's outbreak is beginning to stabilize in the Sun Belt but heating up in the Midwest, fuelled largely by young adults who are hitting bars, restaurants and gyms again.

The number of recoveries in India has crossed the 10-lakh mark, according to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare

Coronavirus cases in India rose by 48,513 on Wednesday, taking the total tally beyond 15 lakh, while the toll rose to 34,193 with 768 new deaths, the Union health ministry said. The Centre also issued guidelines for 'Unlock 3', which is set to be effective from 1 August.

A total of 15,31,669 cases have been recorded so far, which includes 5,09,447 active cases and 9,88,030 patients who have been cured/discharged/migrated.

Yoga centres, gyms to open as part of Unlock 3 guidelines

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued 'Unlock 3' guidelines easing some restrictions on the movement of individuals during the night (night curfew) and allowing yoga institutes and gyms to open from 5 August while schools, metro and cinema halls will continue to remain closed.

The ministry said that lockdown shall continue to be implemented strictly in the containment zones till 31 August.

According to the new guidelines, metro rail, cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls, social/political/sports/entertainment/academic/cultural/religious functions and other large congregations will continue to remain prohibited.

The MHA added that state governments and Union Territories, based on their assessment of the situation, may prohibit certain activities outside the containment zones or impose such restrictions as deemed necessary.

The ministry said that the new guidelines are based on feedback received from states and UTs and extensive consultations held with related central ministries and departments.

Independence Day functions will be allowed with social distancing and by following other health protocols like wearing masks, the release said.

However, there shall be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods and no "separate permission/ approval/ e-permit" will be required for such movements.

"Shops will need to maintain adequate physical distancing among customers. MHA will monitor the effective implementation of national directives. Vulnerable persons, i.e., persons above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women, and children below the age of 10 years, are advised to stay at home, except for meeting essential requirements and for health purposes," it said.

It said international air travel of passengers has been permitted in a limited manner under the Vande Bharat mission. "Further opening-up will take place in a calibrated manner," it said.

Lockdown extended in Maharashtra till 31 Aug

The Maharashtra government extended the lockdown in the state till 31 August in view of rising coronavirus cases.

A notification issued by Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar said the decision has been taken as an "emergency step to prevent and contain" the spread of COVID-19.

As part of the 'Mission Begin Again' initiative, malls and market complexes without theatres, food courts and restaurants will be operational between 9 am and 7 pm from 5 August, the notification said.

The state government had last month extended the lockdown till 31 July amid a steady growth in the COVID-19 cases in the state.

Meanwhile, the Tripura government also extended the "complete lockdown” in the state till 4 August as COVID-19 cases continued to rise.

​“We are going through a phase when only social distancing and masks can protect us. Twenty-one people have regrettably died till now, most of them veterans. The ongoing lockdown that was supposed to continue till Thursday morning would now continue till 5 am on 4 August. All guidelines from the ongoing lockdown would be in force,” Tripura chief minister Biplab Deb said while making the announcement.

India's CFR is lowest since 1 April, says Centre

The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 is fast approaching the 10-lakh mark, while the case fatality rate has been falling progressively due to coordinated implementation of the 'test track treat' strategy by the Centre, states and Union Territories, the health ministry said on Wednesday.

India's COVID-19 case fatality rate (CFR) is lower than what it is globally. On Wednesday, the CFR stood at 2.23 percent, the lowest since 1 April, the health ministry said in a statement.

"Not only has the CFR been kept low, but successful implementation of effective containment strategy, aggressive testing and standardised clinical management protocols based on a holistic standard of care approach have in tandem resulted in a consistent trend of more than 30,000 recoveries per day for the sixth consecutive day," it said.

'Baahubali' director SS Rajamouli tests COVID-19 positive

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli on Wednesday said he and his family members have tested positive for coronavirus and are currently quarantined at home.

The director, best known for his epic fantasy hit "Baahubali" series, said they got tested after they developed mild fever recently which subsided by itself.

"My family members and I developed a slight fever few days ago. It subsided by itself but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today. We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors (sic)" he said.

In a subsequent tweet, Rajamouli said he and his kin are asymptomatic and "feeling better". They are, however, following all the precautions and instructions.

"Just waiting to develop antibodies so that we can donate our plasma," he added.

State-wise cases and deaths

Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 9,211 new COVID19 cases 298 deaths. The total number of cases is now at 4,00,651, including 2,39,755 recovered cases, 1,46,129 active cases and 14,463 deaths.

The recovery rate in the state is at 59.84 percent, as per the state health department. Two new COVID-19 cases were reported in the city's Dharavi area, taking the total number of cases in the area to 2,545 including 83 active cases, according to the BMC.

Tamil Nadu reported 6,426 new cases and 82 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 2,34,114. A total of 5,927 patients were discharged, while 57,490 are active cases, according to the state's health department.

Delhi reported 1,035 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The number of patients recovered/discharged in the last 24 hours are 1,126 while 26 deaths were reported in the national capital in the last 24 hours.

The total number of cases in the National Capital is now at 1,33,310, including 1,18,633 recovered/discharged, 10,770 active cases and the death toll is at 3,907, according to state government.

In Delhi, 5,074 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 12,318 rapid antigen tests were conducted on Wednesday.

Andhra Pradesh reported 10,093 COVID-19 cases, 2,784 discharged and 65 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases in the state is now at 1,20,390, including 55,406 discharged, 63,771 active cases, according to the state's COVID Control Room. The toll is at 1,213 in the state.

In Jammu and Kashmir, 540 COVID-19 cases have been reported on Wednesday, 151 from Jammu division and 389 Kashmir division. The total number of cases in the Union Territory is now at 19,419, including 7,749 active cases, 11,322 recovered. The toll is at 348.

Manipur reported 141 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of cases in the state to 2,458. The number of active and recovered cases are 805 and 1,653 respectively, as per the state government.

Goa's COVID-19 tally reached 5,489 with 202 new cases reported. The number of active and recovered cases in the state is 1,666 and 3,784 respectively. The death toll is at 39, according to the state government.

US is expected to report a record-breaking economic plunge

Having endured what was surely a record-shattering slump last quarter, the US economy faces a dim outlook as a resurgent coronavirus intensifies doubts about any sustained recovery the rest of the year, AP reported.

A huge plunge in consumer spending, as people stayed home and avoided shopping, travelling or gathering in crowds as the virus raged, is estimated to have sent the economy sinking at a roughly 32 percent annual rate in the April-June quarter.

That would be more than triple the previous worst quarterly economic fall, a 10 percent drop set in 1958. Depressed activity in such areas as business investment, home construction and government spending also likely contributed to the worst quarterly contraction on records dating to 1947.

On Thursday, the government will issue its first of three estimates of economic activity, as measured by the gross domestic product, for the April-June quarter.

Moderna's experimental COVID-19 vaccine induced robust immune response in monkeys

US biotechnology company Moderna's experimental vaccine to prevent COVID-19 induced robust immune response and rapidly controlled the novel coronavirus in the upper and lower airways of monkeys exposed to SARS-CoV-2, according to a study published on Tuesday.

The candidate vaccine, mRNA-1273, was co-developed by scientists at Moderna and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in the US.

The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, complements recently reported interim results from an NIAID-sponsored Phase 1 clinical trial of mRNA-1273.

On Monday clinics around the US began a Phase 3 trial of the vaccine candidate, with the aim of enrolling 30,000 people to test for safety and effectiveness.

In the latest study, three groups of eight rhesus macaques received two injections of 10 or 100 microgrammes ( g) of mRNA-1273 or a placebo. Injections were spaced 28 days apart.

Vaccinated macaques produced high levels of neutralising antibodies directed at the surface spike protein used by SARS-CoV-2 to attach to and enter cells, the researchers said.
